We have been enjoying the sunshine these days and getting outside as much as we can. This is a shot from two weeks ago when we were out at a friend's farm. Poppy was very excited to hold our friends' youngest little boy and they shared a few cuddles. She attempted to hold the chickens that were nearly as tall as her but they were not very cooperative. We've been spending lots of time at the parks near home as well, especially with Rand off work for two weeks.
We have lots of plans made for Fall already which is exciting, but we plan to enjoy summer first! Rowan will be taking music and drama, and possibly french. Poppy will start music as well. We're going to be careful not to over-schedule which is easy to do in a city like ours with so many options for home schoolers.
Hopefully we will get out fishing soon as Rowan has been bugging his Grandpa and Uncles constantly to get out and 'wet a line' (no, he doesn't actually know that saying yet but I don't think it will be long).
