Poppy leaves notes for me all over the house. Envelopes and all.
We took a trip to Heritage Park this summer and both of the kids LOVED it! We rode the train, went on some rides, and were given a little talk by a Rabbi in the Jewish Synagogue that came from Oyen, Alberta where my sister-in-law is from!
Sitting on the beach at Sicome Lake. The lake was closed last year all season but open to the public this year. It is a public lake for anyone to access and not very clean. There are gophers everywhere which gives me the creeps but the kids are happy as long as they can swim and play in the sand.
Poppy is getting really comfortable in the water and really swimming well.
At the end of August we travelled to one of our favorite places: Kokanee Creek Provincial Park in the Kootenay Mountains near Nelson, BC. This is the kids' first dip in the Kootenay Lake. Beautiful but cold!
Poppy swam her heart out in the lake. She was just a baby when we were here the first time. More fun to come in the next blog post!
